It’s important that you complete and submit your Gold Permit applications now! Your current permit expires end of June 2009 and if your new application is not submitted by the 31st May 2009, you will not be able to purchase un-wrought precious metal as from 1st July 2009. It is advisable to contact the Regulator at 011 334 8980 if you have not done so already. We have attached a sample of a 5 year Business plan, inclusive of measures to comply with the broad-based socio-economic empowerment charter, to assist you with your application. Attached also find a sample of an application (1-4). It is best to fill it in with a black pen in your own hand righting.
The application requires valid Police and Tax Clearance Certificates, so apply for them immediately since it takes considerable time to get them!
We have done as much as possible to simplify the application for you, but please note that you must have something in all sections, otherwise your application will be incomplete.
